Winnie earns $17 per week reselling onions bought from local farmers. She uses profits to expand her business and to pay school fees for her three children. Her goal is to build a house.
Scovia used a $171 loan for her soy cake  business and now earns profit of $23 per month which she invests in further expansion.  She hopes to enroll in a tailoring course so she can learn new skills and someday set up a training center.

Good Connections

Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Haley Block, a member of the FICH board, connected FICH to TCP Global.

Emmy, a Peace Corps instructor plans to tell new trainees about TCP Global when they arrive in August.

A new Peace Corps Volunteer will be assigned to FICH.

Emmy was inspired to become a Rotarian after learning about Rotary through TCP Global.
Betty received two loans to expand her plasticware business which now generates a profit of over $100 per month and employs 4 people. In addition to investing earnings in the business, she planted hybrid corn and hopes to open a bakery as well.
Grace supports her four children with proceeds from her business grinding soy beans in the Oyam District of Uganda. She hopes to start building a house for her family in July, 2022.
TCP Global is used as a model for government programs that seek to empower women.
Our borrowers serve as role models in their communities.

A TCP Global loan enabled Eunice and her husband to construct this fish pond for her fish business.
Jane used a loan to buy a specialized sewing machine and has seen her sewing business grow. She now trains 6-8 young girls at a time who cannot afford formal education
Innocent's electronics business grew after he joined the RWOT Village Savings and Loan Association group and received his first loan to expand inventory.  With his second loan he expanded to include MTM mobile money and started construction of his own shop.
TCP Global is grateful for recent donations from these groups to help pay for fiscal sponsor services provided by the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA).  These donations support NPCA project administration and NPCA's overall mission. 100% of regular donations are distributed as micro loans.
We would love to add your group's logo here as well

"The developing world is full of entrepreneurs and visionaries who, with access to education, equity and credit would play a key role in developing the economic situation in their countries."               Muhammad Yunus
Until Peace Corps is fully back in the field, TCP Global is a good substitute for Peace Corps Partnership Projects for supporting development in small and remote communities around the world.
