A grant-recipient parent was recently in our office. She has two children receiving therapy services.
As she thanked us for all that we do to help her family, I mentioned that we understand how hard it is dealing with all she must do and that we are happy to help. That help comes because of you.
With tears in her eyes, she said, “you have no idea how much this means.” I do have an idea because I have been in her shoes. I understand what families face when they have children with complicated medical conditions. Even if you have not personally experienced this, I can assure you that the gratitude for the kindness of strangers that this mom expressed has far-reaching ripples into the future for these children, families, and our community. It is a gratitude for all who give of themselves to help others. Thank you for being a part of the solution.
Our third grant cycle this year awarded 67 grants totaling $44,100.00 bringing our 2022 grant award total to 187 awards totaling over $118,000.00.
