This year, our christmas gift to some lucky clients are ocean plastic bowls by the fantastic initiative that is Norwegian Trash. On the beach of Hoddevik at Stadtlandet in Norway, volunteers from Nordic Ocean Watch has collected and sorted 2,4 tonnes of ocean plastic in an old silo.
The bowls are made out of 89 grams of plastic from this beach, and made by hand in Oslo. Every bowl is different and consists of everything from fishing nets to plastic bottles that has found its way to the ocean.
We'll share a bit more about our custom packaging for the bowls on our Instagram in the coming days, all handmade from repurposed materials from leftover office supplies. Product photography by Hinda Fahre.
