LEO is an Australian singer-songwriter who I learned about when she reached out on Twitter, having noticed a shared interest in the music of Gillian Welch. You can certainly hear shades of Welch in LEO's quietly beautiful voice and the high lonesome production on her 2020 eponymous EP. If you liked The Long Farewells' "Only the Stars," you'll dig LEO as well.
