News from Canada's Research, Analytics and Insights Industry

Close to three in four in Canada have been vaccinated at least once, with those fully vaccinated only 10 percentage points behind.  As mask mandates relax in some provinces more than others, the fourth wave of this pandemic is a story focused on combatting the delta variants of the virus even as many borders are opening and physical events become a possibility. 

The Government has dropped the writ for a federal election, which is to be held on September 20th of this year. During an election campaign, it is critical to keep doing research. Read our Election Primer on how to conduct research during elections, and the related blog post from Government Relations. The CRTC's Voter Contact Registry is now accepting registrations up until 48 hours after the federal election. The Registry helps protect Canadians from rogue and misleading telephone calls during federal elections, and to ensure that those who contact voters during an election do so transparently.
