Travel report Uganda and Kenya
Last month we went to Uganda and Kenya with a team of 15 people. We had a wonderful time there! In Uganda we went to the children's home of Iris Ministries for a few days. We spent time with the children and treated them to a delicious meal and a fun music party. In addition, we were allowed to speak in their church and had a fun afternoon with them and played games.
                                       Sponsorchildren meet sponsors
After these beautiful days we were allowed to help with the Words of Faith Foundation, which had organized a campaign in Kamuli. We have experienced great healings and deliverances.
After the campaign we went on to Kenya, where we visited a home where 13 teenage mothers live with their babies. How impressive it was to hear the stories of these brave mothers, most mothers were around 15 years old and mostly got pregnant because of rape. It was so incredibly beautiful to see these precious girls and their children being so lovingly cared for and given counseling. It has become a very close and warm family where they greatly support each other. We had a great time and were able to take the young mothers to the market where they could buy new clothes and shoes.
Esther Home and Bidi Home in Kenya.
In addition, we have been able to prepare a delicious festive meal for them. The next day we took all the mothers and children to a playground where there was a lot of fun and where the mothers could really be a child again.

These three babies are still looking for a sponsor. You make a big impact! Send an email to
Albania earthquake
As you may have heard in the news, there has been a powerful earthquake in Albania. At present, 40 bodies have been found and hundreds of people have been injured. In Kosovo, Project Held supports Foundation de Brug, which is run by Ton and Rrezarta. Even in Kosovo, Gjakova, the earthquake was felt enormously. Ton and Rrezarta were shocked in the middle of the night by this fierce earthquake. They did not hesitate for a moment and traveled to Albania the following day to offer help to the victims. They will help where ever  they can and will provide hot meals. Your prayer is desperately needed for all victims, of course you can also give a gift to Project Held NL54 ABNA 050 26 41 754  BIC: ABNANL2A  stating: Help Albania. We will forward this directly to Rrezarta and Ton so that they can help as many people as possible.
Children's and youth camp in Thailand
Project Held will work together with Baan Zion Children Prison Ministries to organize a three-day outreach in one of the villages in Thailand, with a children's and youth camp. This will attract many people from the surrounding villages. Three days of being together, activities, Bible studies, praise and worship, education and finally a wonderful baptism service! The mission trip is from March 31 to April 14th, we will visit various children's homes in Thailand and Myanmar in addition to the outreach. If you are interested in this trip, you are most welcome at the information meeting on Sunday December 8th at 2 pm. Location Bouw en Infrapark, Ceintuurbaan 1, building 20 in Harderwijk. The days are already getting shorter and here and there we see some cozy Christmas lights burning. Christmas is getting closer! Also within our projects there is already a lot of thought about the Christmas days. Every year we ask all our sponsors to give a Christmas gift for their sponsor child, this year too!
A large number of gifts have already arrived, thank you very much for that! Of course we want to make all children happy with a beautiful Christmas gift. You can transfer your gift through the following  link. ( or by paypal)
You will soon receive a letter or video from your sponsor child. We are still working hard on this!
If you have a Christmas card or letter for your sponsor child yourself, you can still send it only today to Project Held, P.O Box 217 in Harderwijk. We will do our utmost to have it delivered to the children before Christmas.
Thank you for your involvement with your sponsor child and the projects.

On behalf of Project Held,

Tine Buis en Viviane van der Bijl.
