Husa'a Women's Group in Niger provides training to improve business outcomes. 



Surveys conducted by partners in Kenya and Zambia both indicated that 95% of loan recipients use increased earnings to pay their children's school fees. 
SSAAP in Simwatachella, Zambia reports that while the majority of villagers have trouble paying school fees, those who received loans to increase their income do not.

Increased earnings from her fish business help Phenny pay school fees for her children, feed them better and enroll the family in a health insurance program. 
With a $50 loan through DIG in Kenya, she rented a shop. Next a $100 loan enabled her to start her business. She used to earn 4000 Ksh a month working in a fish shop. Now her profit is 4000 Ksh per day, sufficient to enroll her youngest child in a private school.
Rachael is in her 2nd year of studies for a Catering and Hospitality Degree. She writes" I am a happy person and can now pay part of my school fees, eat well and do my exams on time with no worries.I hope to receive a second loan to expand my business and also support my younger siblings. Thank you so much TCP for creating a conducive environment for me to study." ... a Kiminini borrower. 
Rachel received a $100 loan to buy shoes wholesale to sell to fellow students.

During the holiday break, she also ripens bananas and sells locally in the village to earn some income.
" Thanks to the TCP loan, through the proceeds I made from my poultry business, I was able to secure a chance for my daughter in a private school. I was able to buy her a new pair of uniform, books and a bag pack. Secondly, I have also gained confidence to speak in parent meetings since I am able to pay school fees on time. Long live TCP"  Says Claire, a Kiminini borrower in Kenya. 
Fundación Panorama Sostenible (PASO) in Neiva, Colombia, offers a variety of programs for students including an Introduction to basic robotics.

PASO added TCP Global loans to its service portfolio in January of 2021

 
 
Music classes and the experience of playing in a band give PASO students another means of livelihood.  As their musical education advances, duets, trios, quartets, quintets and sextets are formed.
In July, Pamela (right) showed her vegetable garden to Dr. Ebby Luvaga, TCP Global's Kenya advisor. Two loans enabled her to increase yield and earnings.   ...Kiminini
She used to have trouble paying her son's school fees.  With increased earnings, she bought him new shoes, paid school fees and paid her loan. "I am so happy he will be able to complete his studies and secure a chance in the university. His performance has really improved and has been recording good grades for the last one year. I want to thank TCP for supporting  the less privileged."
Kista Ogot, head of Kiminini Women's Group in Kenya shared what she had learned at agriculture boot camp.
