Dear reader,

Our biggest struggle often can be getting 'out of our own heads'. Even king David preached to himself daily: "Bless the Lord Oh my soul and all that is within me...oh why are you downcast my soul, I am yet to praise the Lord!", etc. When we only listen to our inner selves, it is often the voice of "not enough" and if we are not careful this can become a constant repetitive play-list which will not only limit us, but could become a stronghold. Now especially, is a time when these thoughts gets amplified as you are faced to deal with self.

In Eph 6, we are warned to take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God" and "be transformed daily by renewing your mind by His word." (Eph 6 and Rom 12:2).  This way we can better withstand the lies from the enemy, who will attack you on your weak points. "There is no condemnation for those in Christ" - Romans 8

However, this is also a decision in the end. Follow your own mind, or make Yeshua Hamashiach  your Captain in command, as you submit all of you, including your thought life to His sanctifying altar. You decide. Often the easiest is surrender, let it burn, trusting that what we often run from has already been taking care off by God. Believe that He is good and that we can TRUST Him. He's got you ! Make Him your Captain every day.

"There is a difference between reaction and response. Reaction is what you feel. Response is what you choose. When your reaction to the Lord is to trust in Him, your response will be to Him, not your circumstance. Faith in Him will be your reaction to what is going on. Fear will have no place in your response to Him.

The Lord said "My people perish from a lack of knowledge". This means the intimate and personal knowledge of Him and relationship that is known only in His presence. This is where you know you are loved, and that He's got you as His grand plan for all of His creation is being played out. He told me, You can't take down your enemy until he shows up. Rather than fight against what's going on, let us trust Him in what's going on. Let us remain hidden in Him. Let our hearts be confident in Him. As His agenda unfolds in what is going on, let our hearts remain at peace, trusting in Him. The Lord said, 'Fear not in all things, for I hold you in the palm of My hand in all things.'

This is the generation that is called to see the Lord's face and to know His heart on an unprecedented level. How aware of the Lord we are in our heart is how active, confident and alive our confidence in Him is." (excerpt from Kathy Mote)

In Acts 28, we see that the moment Paul set foot on Malta, after surviving a shipwreck, a snake bit him while he was helping build a fire to get warm. What did he do? He simply shook it into the fire, to everyone's astonishment, unharmed! The same hand which was bitten was used a few days later when he layed his hand on Publius's dad for healing. Beloved, we often get blindsided or attacked, in whichever form it comes, but we can surely learn from Paul's example of how to deal with this. Shake it off!

Yeshua has given us authority to trample on all the power of the enemy and to walk with absolute fearlessness. Remain steadfast and confident that what the enemy intends to do with the warfare against us will not prosper; for the battle's not ours, but it's the Lord's. If it is thoughts of "not enough", don't let it stick or sink in, but rather "shake it off". When people offends you, keep forgiving and praying, and 'shake it off". If Yeshua could forgive while he was being tortured and mocked, saying: "Forgive them Father, for they do not know what they are doing", then so can we also show mercy, for this is the higher life we are called to live in Christ.

Even though Paul felt very stuck on all levels, in Malta, the Lord still was in control and had a Master plan with provision already mapped out for Him. Beloved, the Lord goes before you, and He sets you up with the right people in an often spectacular moment of providence, to get you where you need to be. If you walk in surrender and obedience to Him. So if you feel that you are in a 'tight' spot, know your authority in Christ and that we are called to live supernatural lives with Him. We are called to live by faith and not sight.

In 2 Sam 5:20, we saw how the Lord broke through like a crashing wave for David at Baal-Perazim: "So David came to Baal-perazim and David struck them down there. So he said, “Adonai has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters!” That is why he named that place Baal-perazim. They abandoned their idols there, so David and his men removed them. HOW FAITHFUL AND AWESOME IS OUR KING!

When Daniel was thrown into the lion's Den, we saw how the Lord, in a dangerous situation tamed the lions. He is the lion tamer! In the same way He can mute and freeze every danger in our lives and remove the enemy's strength and capacity to harm us when we cry out to Him for help. Remember that the God we serve is the same One who incapacitated the bodies of every male in the king's house when he took Sarah with the intention of having her. He is protective over His ownIn 2 Chron 20, we also see how Jehoshaphat defeats Moab and Ammon by doing nothing other than Worship. The Lord fought and won the battle for them! What a miracle working God we serve. He loves us with a fierce love.

So the question is: "What can't our God do?!"

How often the Lord consoles us: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand" (Isa 41:10). Another is in Psalm 91:3-4: "For He will rescue you from the hunter’s trap and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness is body armor and shield." So let Him shield you today, as you hide in Him.

Yeshua said: “I will never leave you or forsake you,”(Hebr 13:5). In fact, He loves you so much that He will always cause you to triumph when when you make mistakes if you are surrendered to His sovereignty. Yes, His compassion NEVER fails and He is with you always.

Listen to His voice when He says: "Keep your eyes LOCKED on Me. I have placed your feet upon the ROCK. you shall not be moved. Face the world head-on, My warrior, in confidence and strength. Let your faith roar louder than your fear for the righteous are as bold as a lion. As it is written, so it shall be."

"Every word of God is true, He is a shield of those who put their trust in Him" - Prov 30:5
"Is not my word like fire" says the Lord, and lie a hammer that breaks the [most stubborn] rock [in pieces]" - Jer 23:29.

So, make a decision to believe Him, trust Him and continue to praise Him just like Paul did, even in prosecution. We are walking in the same inheritance and covenant of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob today.  It is all rigged in our favour, because of Him. We cannot lose.

We want to thank every one for their prayers and we want to thank our Lord and Saviour for giving us a house were we can serve Him and minister to His children. It is located in Alphen Park, Pretoria, not far from Menlyn shopping mall.

The vision for the House of the Lord is to divide it into a few sections  where one can host fellowship/teachings, like an auditorium. It will  have a reception area, kitchen area, bookshop/gift shop/ tea garden and offices for pastoral care, together with guestrooms which will be used for ministering.

The house is in need of some renovations and to assist us in this project we want to invite any one who feels led by Holy Spirit to sow into this project. Below is a list of things that is needed before we can occupy.

If you have any of these items that you want to sow, or you want to make a contribution for these items, you can contact pastor Gideon directly at 0746846472. May God abundantly bless you. Together we can bring change in Gods people.

Nehemia 13:11 "So I rebuked the officials and asked them, Why is the house of God neglected? Then I called them together and stationed them at their post"
