The U.S. Ski & Snowboard and CXC are encouraging you to renew your memberships.

As many of you know, the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation is providing each fully certified Central Region coach with a complimentary 2021 Birkie / Korte entry.

We are grateful for their support!

* This promotion is good for ONE registration to the 2021 Birkie, Korte, or Prince Haakon to be used by you, a coach, volunteer, or athlete on your team. You can not get your money back if you have already signed up. The code can not be used for the 2022 Birkie.

Your 2021 complimentary Birkie entry is a benefit of having your coaches certification current and complete for this season. In order to receive a complimentary Birkie race offer, individuals must meet the following requirements:
 

• Be a Level 100 and/or Level 200 Certified Coach (with current CPR & First Aid certifications)
   
• Have current 2020-21 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Coach Membership
   
• Be affiliated with a club with current CXC Club Membership or U.S. Ski & Snowboard Club Membership for 2020-21 season.

To receive a code, please provide:

- Proof of your current certification status 
- Proof of your Club's membership with the U.S. Ski & Snowboard

NEW IN MEMBERSHIP THIS SEASON
 

• Introduction to Avalanches: This 5-10 minute course was developed through a partnership between the Utah Avalanche Center, BRASS, and U.S. Ski & Snowboard. The course is required of anyone turning 18 or older.
   
• Refund Policy: Much like most other NGB’s U.S. Ski & Snowboard will be reinforcing it’s no refund policy. Online registration now includes a mandatory acknowledgement of this policy.
   
• FIS Activations: Beginning this season, FIS registrations will not be activated until all membership requirements have been met.
   
• Club Registration and Membership Deadline: We’re making substantial changes to the club registration process. New for the 2020-21 season, there will be a deadline of Dec 31 for club registration. After this time, a late fee of $50 will apply.

Club Registrations:

• Clubs will be processed when Club Minimum Standards are met
• Only current clubs will appear on the club directory
• Only current clubs will appear in the online registration drop-down menu
• Clubs may submit a roster of active members by email to Member Services once the club has been activated
• Early registration is key!
