The CXC Superfit weekend at Pioneer Midwest is the Central region’s big pre-season kickoff, with some of the sport’s top athletes, equipment reps, and coaches helping skiers prepare for the upcoming season.

Enjoy a weekend of training and season prep by joining a rollerski clinic with Matt Liebsch and Team Birkie coaches Caitlin Gregg and Leo Hipp! In the store: bring in your gear for fitting purposes and chat with CXC, Team Birkie, and Pioneer Midwest staff about everything skiing-related.

This year’s event will also include a CXC Entry Level Coaches Training course.

The course provides the fundamental background information needed to coach cross-country skiing. The training, which includes theoretical and practical parts, a manual, and a test, is for anyone but tailored explicitly toward entry-level coaches, assistant coaches, volunteers, parents, or anyone looking for a refresher. 

The course fee is $40.
