The Center for Accessibility assists individuals with disabilities to access programs, services, and collections at all branches of the DC Public Library. Smart Home: Make Your Home More Accessible with Tech!

In celebration of ADA month, the Center for Accessibility, in partnership with the DC Assistive Technology Program, will be hosting the Smart Home Exhibit at the Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Library, New Books Room on the First Floor (near the corner of 9th and G) on July 22nd and 23rd.. It will a showcase of the latest smart tech designed to bring ease to everyday home activities. The display will include some well-known tech like the Alexa and the Apple Ipad to some not so well-known (but just as reliable) tech like the Hero Medication dispenser and Kasa Smart light bulbs.

Join us in celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act's 32 years by learning about modern technology that benefits all!
