Submission process

The abstracts submission deadline is now extended until 21st February 2020.

The conference welcomes contributions in form of scientific papers as well as short technical papers. The papers will be peer-reviewed and a selection of them recommended for publication in a special issues of a high-ranked scientific journal.

SPECIAL ISSUE - confirmed

ICSC 2020 in special issue of AAP

'Accident Analysis & Prevention' journal (ISSN 0001-4575) will organise a special issue devoted to the conference.

A selection of papers will be recommended for further submission to the special issue. The recommendation does not guarantee publication as the papers will have to go through the regular revision process at the journal.

Special session: 'Single bicycle crashes as a rising problem'

The large majority of serious injuries among cyclists are due to single crashes and in a few countries the same applies to cyclist deaths. This special session will highlight the size of the problem, trends, existing data and knowledge and provide a discussion about why so little is known about causes and measures to address single-bicycle crashes.

The session will be chaired by Dr. Paul Schepers, SWOV (the Netherlands).
