Congratulations to Bill Boomer on his retirement!

Bill Boomer, former director of Marriage and Family Ministry, began this new and exciting chapter of his life on February 7th. We are enormously thankful for his dedication over the last 22+ years, and his passion for ministering with couples and families throughout the many seasons of their lives. We wish him the best on his retirement!

"Forgiven" Study Program

A training for Priests, Deacons, Lay Ecclesial Ministers, or Counselors who have not yet been trained or would like a refresher to administer the relationship inventory and work with couples preparing for marriage. Cost: $175 for new trainee, $25 for refresher course.

Continuing Formation Opportunities

The Lay Ecclesial Ministry Office and the Office for Ongoing Formation for Clergy are collaborating to plan continuing education and formation opportunities for lay ecclesial ministers, parish staff members, priests and deacons in our Diocese. In this spirit of collaboration, you are welcomed and invited to the following:

  • Preaching, Story Telling and its power to Evangelize, with ValLimar Jansen on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish.
  • Ministering to Individuals with Speech Challenges, with Marilee Fini, M.A. CCC/SLP, a certified and licensed Speech Pathologist, on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 1:15 - 3:45 pm at The Center for Pastoral Leadership.

An Evening of Confession

The celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of God’s gifts to help us as we journey toward God’s kingdom and strive to serve God’s people entrusted to our care. As in previous years, parish resources are available online.
