You are invited to participate in the research project identified above which is being conducted as part of a PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health by myself, Ms Adelle Liebenberg (PhD candidate), Professor Carole James (Primary Supervisor), Ms Valerie Nie (Supervisor) and Professor Alan Brichta (Supervisor) from the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing at the University of Newcastle.
We are conducting a survey to investigate worker perceptions of the strategies that are currently being used in the management of noise and prevention of hearing loss in the Australian mining industry. This study invites all workers and contractors working at any mine within Australia, to provide their perception and beliefs related to strategies used in the management and prevention of occupational hearing loss, and will only take 10 minutes to complete.
