September Recap
Apple Festival
This year we had our 16th Apple Festival!  A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed in any way to make this year's festival a success, whether volunteering or attending, we can't do it without you.  And a  special Thank You to the Apple Festival committee for the countless hours they put in before, during, and after the festival to bring it, and us, all together.
Thank you again to all who made this year's festival possible!
Sermon Recordings
After some technical difficulties with recording equipment, sermon recordings will now continue to be posted online for those who would like to hear them.  For now the recordings are audio only, however they can still be accessed both through the website as well as the YouTube channel.

If you would like to be notified when a new sermon is available, please reply to this email to let us know.
October Updates
Monthly Mission Emphasis

The Mission Emphasis for the month of October is Neighbors in Need (NIN).  NIN is a special mission offering of the United Church of Christ that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM) and the UCC's Justice and Witness Ministries (JWM) which supports a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects through grants. This year, special consideration will be given to projects focusing on serving our immigrant neighbors and communities.

Save the date! On October 25, from 5pm – 9pm, we will be partnering with West Haven United to put on a fun Halloween event!  There will be a haunted house on the Green, crafts, craft vendors, and pumpkin painting, as well as Trunk or Treat and food sales by the church.
We’re looking for people who would like to help by bringing their vehicle to decorate and hand out a Halloween treat.

If you’d like to help, or have any questions, please contact Kirsten Vargo at
