April Recap
Online Resources
As part of ongoing social distancing efforts, in-person gatherings continue to be temporarily suspended at FCCWH.  April sermon videos are available online on both the church website and FCCWH YouTube Channel.  The prayer list and prayer request information have also been added to the website.  Below are all the links you'll need to access content that has been posted online.  We will continue to post new material as it is available until we are able to meet in person again.

May Updates
A Note From Christian Education:
As we continue to socially distance ourselves, the Interim Christian Education Director, Kirsten Vargo organized a socially distant Easter Egg Hunt. She asked volunteers to color pictures of Easter Eggs which were hung in the windows of the education wing.  People were able to drive by or walk on the green and count how many Easter Eggs they were able to find.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the Easter Egg Hunt!
In addition, Ruth Costa organized the purchase of the Easter Lilies this year. After the Easter Sermon was filmed, the lillies were distributed to families.
As of right now VBS has been put on hold.  We are weighing carefully the advice of the CDC on what will take place this year. More information will come soon.

Silver Lake Summer Camp registration is open and camp has not been canceled as of yet. The camp organizers are closely monitoring the situation as well and when updates become available we will let you know.  In the meantime if you would like to attend summer camp this year, please contact Kirsten Vargo for more details.

Sunday school lessons are still being sent out and we have developed a plan for the Confirmation Students to continue working on their studies as well during this time. If you have any suggestions on things you would like to see happen during this time, please contact Kirsten Vargo at
Candle of Honor
This month the Candle of Honor is lit in loving memory of our mother, Edith P. Germond, this Mothers' Day and every day; and of our father, Bert Germond, on his Birthday and always.

Love their sons, Steve, Bill & Ken

Please give generously and help make a difference to those in need. Each $10 buys a blanket for those in dire need. Please mail in your contributions and note: Monthly Mission Emphasis in the memo section of your check.
