Haere Mai!


Thanks to the exceptional number of local youth who partook in our most recent Spring Holiday Programme where we had two weeks of enjoyable activities, both locally and wider throughout our region. Thank you to all the supporters of the programme and to Otago Community Trust for supporting providing sponsorship to over twenty local families.

This November we have a lot going on for our team with some exciting changes and introductions coming up for our community. So keep an eye out!

With two camps upcoming for the Year 8 & 9 youth our Youth Workers will be joining in the fun and this will mean The Hangout Youth Centre will be closed for the week of Monday 22nd until Friday 26th November. Also, our Youth Workers have begun to introduce themselves to the Year 6's at both Cromwell Primary and Goldfields Primary as a transition to their movement to Year 7 for 2022.

 

We aim to help our local families plan ahead and begin looking at what their young people will be getting up to over December and January once school is finished; so we will be announcing and opening up our End of Year and Summer 2022 activities over the next couple of weeks.

We look forward to what November is going to bring and we cannot wait to showcase the awesome changes happening with Cromwell Youth Trust - so stay tuned!

COMING UP THIS NOVEMBER FOR OUR YOUTH

BREAKFAST PROGRAMME

Cromwell Youth Trust kicked off their FREE breakfast programme initiative this current school term and it has had some great successes already with many young people enjoying the opportunity to come by and grab some breakfast or do a 'grab n' go' to continue on with their morning.

Every Tuesday & Wednesday our Youth Workers, and some awesome volunteers, will be opening the Breakfast Programme from 8am until 8:50am with the location being the Home Economics room at Cromwell College.

SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME 2022

Cromwell Youth Trust is finalising an exciting three (3) week Summer Holiday Programme for January 2022. To ensure families and our youth have an opportunity to secure their spots and have this long summer break full of fun activities we will be releasing the programme in the coming weeks; before school finishes at the start of December. So keep an eye out!

END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES

Cromwell Youth Trust will be offering a variety of fun activities between the final day of school and Christmas; so watch this space in the coming weeks to ensure your child has some fun things to do before Christmas.
