JOIN US FOR THE GINGERBREAD BASH! Everyone is welcome to this free, fun, and interactive family celebration of Jesus' birth. Families will hear the Christmas story, build gingerbread nativities, sing, play games, and more. The event closes with a Soup Dinner at 5:00 pm. Gingerbread Bash Participants Sign-up here.

Students from Westwood House and KU oSTEM organized a "Queer Family Dinner" open to all KU students celebrating chosen families and friends on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Chef Matthew prepared turkey and students brought sides and desserts for the potluck gathering. Our final special event of the semester is a Christmas cookie decorating open house on December 7 starting at 5p. Dinner is at 6p followed by worship at 7p. All KU students are welcome.
As we near the end of the fall semester, we offer a special word of gratitude and thanks to our First Church family for your support throughout the year!

BIG GARDEN UPDATE
Lots of progress has been made in our new location on the east side of the West Campus parking lot. The eight new donation beds (growing for Just Food) are nearing completion. A big thank you to Home Depot for the lumber donation, Bryan Welch for the goat manure donation, and all whose generous donations and hard work make our lovely garden grow!
