Greetings!

It has been a little quiet on the e-news front over the past few weeks, but rest assured that we have been working busily on various projects!
Here's an update on just a few things we've been working on!

Wokingham Without Neighbourhood Plan

We are making progress with our Neighbourhood Plan and are now seeking input from residents. We are looking at four key topic areas:
  • Travel and Transport
  • Environment and Green Infrastructure
  • Community Facilities
  • Business and the Economy
If you're interested in finding out more about how you can help shape the future of your community, please contact the parish office (contact details below)

We will have a stand at the next South Wokingham SDL Forum meeting, which is scheduled for Monday 18th November from 7-9pm at Wokingham Borough Council's office at Shute End in Wokingham, so if you are planning to attend, please make sure you come and have a chat with us!
Thank you to everyone that braved the wet weather to help us on our Community Litter Pick on Sunday 13th October - we removed over 30 bags of litter from the parish.
We're also still signing up residents to our 'Adopt a Street' scheme, so if you're concerned about litter in your area, please contact us for more information about the scheme.
We are currently finalising plans to extend the 'adopt a street' litter picking scheme to local teenagers undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. If you're looking for a volunteering opportunity to complete your award, and you'd like to help keep your community clean, please get in touch with the parish office, via the contact details below
We recently published our Autumn newsletter, which parish residents you should have received a copy of through their letterbox.

If you live in the parish but didn't receive a copy, please do let us know.

You can also read it on our website, by clicking on this link: Autumn Newsletter
We're busy drawing up some proposals for improvements to the Toddler Playground at the Pinewood Centre - we are currently liaising with playground providers and hope to have some more detail of the exciting improvements soon!

Upcoming Council Meetings

We have two more council meetings in 2019 and residents are welcome to attend. Our meetings are held in the Howard Palmer Room at the Memorial Hall (on Nine Mile Ride at the junction with Honey Hill).

Monday 4th November 2019
Monday 2nd December 2019 (Starting at 8pm)
