RI Aotearoa NZ conference: last day to get early bird tickets (ends 31 Aug)


RIAA's (Responsible Investment Association Australasia) conference is an annual highlight, with the largest responsible gathering in Aotearoa New Zealand. It'll be held in-person on Wednesday 28 September 2022 in Auckland. Early bird rates are available until 31 August 2022. The full programme can be accessed here.

The IIN will host a breakfast event, just before the RI Aotearoa NZ conference at the same venue. Register before remaining spaces are filled!

FMA plans to crack down on greenwashing 

The FMA is ramping up its surveillance of so-called “green” funds and other ESG investments to ensure they’re compliant with guidance the regulator published 12 months ago. Read more and here.

Kiwibank unveils green loans for small and medium-sized businesses

Kiwibank will soon begin offering “green loans” to business customers investing in decarbonising their operations. The loans, which will cost less than the bank’s ordinary business loans, will be available from September 26 for businesses doing things like converting to electric vehicles, or improving the energy efficiency of their buildings.
