the thoughtful hotelier

Issue 9

Dear hospitality enthusiast,

In today's issue, we will tell you about our traditional Valpas Sprint week and how it has helped us grow and improve. After that, we'll highlight our new members from Paris, Nice, and Marseille and share news about environmentally friendly superheated steam dish washers and sand batteries.

Hope you will enjoy!

New Valpas member hotels to get inspired by

The Nap, Nice

Get your strength back after exploring Nice old town and strolling along the famous La Promenade des Anglais by taking a power nap at the three-star hotel The Nap. Colourful and designed with Mediterranean décor, it is a cosy cocoon or, as the French say, a pied-à-terre.

Helussi, Paris

This three-star hotel is not overly touristy but is still within walking distance to Montmartre and the Opera Garnier. Guests will be greeted by personal service from the hotel's staff and stay in one of 23 individually decorated rooms that offer a romantic view of Parisian roofs.

Marseille Bourse Vieux Port, Marseille

Marseille is a French city on the coast and is home to many seaside attractions. The Vieux Port, or Old Port, is one of its most famous sights. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from that port. Guests will be welcomed in tropically decorated rooms with green, blue, or yellow palettes and flamingos, pineapples, or crabs prints.

About Valpas

Valpas started after one trip went horribly wrong. In 2013 our cofounder-CEO Martim caught bed bugs while travelling and got disappointed with all the losses and continuous fossil fuel-made pesticide treatments.

Today, Valpas has set a new hygiene standard in hospitality for bed bug safety. Hoteliers can stop the use of fossil fuel-made pesticides and the GHG they emit over 100 years and be part of the solution to the climate crisis.
