Possibilities Campaign
Our Possibilities Career Awareness campaign wrapped up last month, but that doesn't mean we're done thinking about all of the possibilities that Wayne County has to offer. Visit the Possibilities page on our website to see some of the high-growth fields in Wayne County. Share the link with students or others in your life that want to level up their careers!
Friend to Friend
Food Assistance Program
From now until the end of September, United Way Whitewater Valley and Natco Credit Union will be raising funds for local food pantries in Wayne and Union Counties. Text FEEDUWWV to 91999 or scan the QR code below to donate. Please share this with your colleagues and visit the United Way of Whitewater Valley's website for more information.
10th Annual Potterypalooza
Potterypalooza, a celebration of pottery and ceramics, is back! On Saturday, September 10th in the front lawn of the Richmond Art Museum, regional ceramic artists will be on hand to sell both hand-made functional ceramics like plates, bowls, and mugs as well as sculpture and art pieces. Admission is free! Learn more on the Richmond Art Museum's website.
Canal Days 2022
It's time for the 51st Annual Canal Days celebration in Cambridge City! This year's theme is Endless Summer. On September 10th and 11th, visit Cambridge City for vendors, food trucks, live music, and much more! Click here to view the full schedule of events.
Springwood Park Cleanup
Join the Richmond Parks Department on September 16th & 17th as they clean up Springwood Park of trash and invasive species! Closed-toe shoes are required, and snacks, water, tools and bags will be provided to volunteers! Register today on the Facebook event page.
2022 Depot District Oktoberfest
The Richmond Depot District Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, September 17th! Enjoy vendors, live music, food, beer gardens, and more! Follow the Oktoberfest on Facebook or visit their website for information as the event gets closer!
Wayne County Writes
Wayne County Writes is a one-day conference held at the Wayne County Historical Museum on Saturday, September 17th. Writers from around the county will host workshops that cover a variety of subjects and genres, from fiction to blogging and much more! Visit the Wayne County Writes website to learn more and register. 
Levi Coffin Days
This year's Levi Coffin Days will be held on September 17th & 18th in Fountain City! Attractions include live music, a chalk art competition, local food trucks, a parade, and much more. Follow the Levi Coffin Days Facebook event for updates and more information!
Wayne Bank Document Shredding
Wayne Bank is hosting two on-site document shredding events in September. The Cambridge City branch will host the shredding event on September 17th from 9 am - 12 pm, and the Downtown Richmond branch will host the event on September 24th from 9 am - 12 pm. Limit 5 boxes of shred material per participant. Visit Wayne Bank's website to learn about what can be shredded and who to contact for further questions!

We continue to work with the State on pinpointing internet speeds, as well as no internet availability. Please take a moment to complete the Indiana Speed Test at infb.org/speedtest in your home. The Wayne County Broadband Task Force needs your help to continue working on broadband deployment across the county.
