What's happening at AHLG?...

What a massive year 2019 was for us all at AHLG! We hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and festive season with family and friends and that you are all set for a bumper year ahead!

We are extremely proud of how far we have come these past 12 months, so we thought we would take this opportunity to share with you some of the progress we have made and some milestones we hit in 2019...

From moving in to our new shed in Totness at the start of the year, to setting up 3 new ‘divisions’ and even taking out a nice little gong at the MLSA awards night for ‘Best Residential Landscape Maintenance’, we really have come a long way!

We started the year with a residential maintenance team of 10, we had 2 on the commercial sites and Katie for around 10 hours a week in the office. At year’s end, we have grown to 5 specialised ‘divisions’ across a team of 30 extremely hard working and loyal people, and now operate out of 2 sites, one in Totness, and the other in Inverbrackie. We now have a full-time admin person, and have engaged a professional bookkeeping service to keep everything in order!

Our 5 ‘divisions’ which are lead by qualified and experienced guys include:

  • Residential lawn and garden maintenance
  • Commercial lawn and garden maintenance
  • Landscaping
  • Tree services
  • Turf and irrigation

We couldn’t be happier or more proud of our awesome team and we are really excited to continue to improve our service to all of our awesome clients in 2020!!!

Products we love & recommend...

Yankalilla Fines from Fitzgerald Quarries

We’ve completed a couple of landscaping projects lately creating paths from this nunique product. It compacts beautifully to create a hardwearing, textured path or walkway.

Installed with a metal edge the path can be contoured to create a softer feel. As well as a crisp edge to a lawn or garden bed.

Did you know?...

A herb is from the leaf of a plant. A spice is from the seed, bark, root, berry, or bulb.

Recent Projects...

The landscaping lads had an extremely busy run into Christmas, knocking over a few larger jobs and also loads of smaller jobs, like this little Kanmantoo blue stone wall they installed in Crafers.

These guys are so thorough in everything they do and never stop until the job is finished at the highest of standards.

Machine of the Month ...

The Andersons Professional Spreader

We’ve had many fertiliser spreaders over the years. Most of them have never lasted much longer than a couple of seasons. The corrosive nature of fertiliser rusts out key components such as the transmission and hopper housing. The Andersons Professional Spreader while expensive, is built to last. We’re stoked with how well it has performed to date!
