Welcome 2021 Captains
Our 2021 student leadership team was announced at our Presentation Night last year with Lexi Herden and Johann Smit announced as Primary Captains and Alex Sammut-Paul and Samuel Pearce as Primary vice-captains, while Laura Hall-Matthews and Bailey Boland are our High School captains with Laura Rusten and Thomas Unger as our vice-captains.
Congratulations, we know you will do a wonderful job.
Year 7-10 Sport - Pool
Our first Sport day is the first day of school, and will be a mandatory swimming session at the Parkes Pool. All Year 7-10 students need to bring their swimmers and a towel in order to take part.
Students who do not bring their swimmers will have to stay at school and complete a theory booklet on swimming safety. Students who have a season ticket need to let Mrs van Wyk know so that we can organise the correct entry fee to the pool.
School Uniform
Parkes Christian School's Uniform can be purchased from Byrne Clothing and Embroidery in Parkes, for more information on our Uniform Policy please click here.
Please note; PCS also has limited second hand uniform items available through the school. If you are interested in purchasing a second hand uniform please contact the school to check sizing availability and arrange an appointment.
We are looking forward to seeing our Year 1 to Year 12 students on Wednesday 27 January and our new Kindergarteners on Thursday 28 January.
Homework Hub Returns
Homework Hub will commence from Week 2 (Monday 1st February) and will continue through to Week 10 for Term 1.
Homework Hub is held on Monday afternoons from 3:15pm to 4pm and is for students in Years 2 to 6 and High School.
Please ensure prompt pick up at 4pm. If you have any question please contact Mrs Harris (Primary) or Miss Oates (High School) via the school office on 6862 4164.
2020 Primary Fun Day
Primary likes to see the year out in style and so on our last Monday together for the year 2020 we held our PRIMARY FUN DAY!!! There were plenty of activities for students to showcase their talents and skills, be creative and just have a whole lot of FUN!
A massive thank you to everyone that contributed to helping out with the fun activities.
Here some of the photos of the children enjoying their activity!
We can't wait to do it all again in Term 4, 2021!
Craft Club
PCS Craft Club finished up 2020 with some great Christmas work. Stage 1 completed paper craft Christmas trees, decorated wooden ornaments and some macaroni Christmas wreaths, while the Stage 2/3 crafters got busy practising their sewing skills. Stage 2/3 made felt wall hangings and some lovely material wreaths. Mrs Greenland and Mrs Richards have been so pleased with the determination of the craft club members to complete their crafts and by the excellent behaviour and manners shown by all members throughout 2020. We are looking forward to a great time in Craft Club in 2021.
