Staff Holiday Gifts 2022
Just a reminder that our Tubman Staff Holiday Gift Fund will be receiving contributions only through this Friday, December 16th. All monies collected will be equally distributed to all 70 teachers and staff members at Tubman as a community gift. Please join us in celebrating and recognizing the hard work being done by all Tubman staff members by giving any amount you can.
Ways to Contribute:

- Drop off an envelope with cash/check labeled “Tubman Staff Holiday Gift Donation” in the office to Ms. Gordon by no later than December 16. Checks should be made out to Friends of Tubman.

Important Note Regarding Holiday Shop
As you know, we are hosting our first Penguin Patch Holiday Shop this week.The students will be permitted time to shop during the school day starting this afternoon. The classes have been previewing the shop and are so excited!
We did want to note to our families, however, that while we'd previously advised that students come with no more than $20, as we have many items available from $0.25 to $13, families should budget their student according to whatever works best for their family and list needs. After receiving inventory and watching the students make their lists, we noticed they generously want to treat many family members and included some higher priced items on their lists. Please send your student with their money in the envelope provided or a sealed bag with the student name on it so it's easy to keep track of and students are aware of what they can spend. This is a great opportunity for learning and giving. Volunteers will be on hand to help the kids shop and check out.
Any student that is absent during their class shopping time will be allowed to shop during "make up" hours on Friday.
