Dave's Corner 💭

We were walking on the boardwalk by the lake downtown and we were amazed at one of the new apartment buildings on the cliffs overlooking the park. It seemingly appears to be built on large support columns that run into the hillside. Is this right or are they just decorative? Does anyone know? I was surprised to see such daring architecture in Burlington.

• Snow Plowing
  Sidewalk plowing is unnecessary on Eastman Way. The side walk only runs past 2 houses and is not being used in the winter. Its a dead end street and the few people use the street. This morning's plowing created a mess. It left a 4 ft large block of compacted snow right in he middle of my driveway. The plowing creates more problems for me and my neighbor then its worth. Safe time and personnel by NOT plowing the Eastman Way sidewalk. F. Verdonk Thanks

  Good morning, It appears the snow plow driver in our area doesn’t know our end of the street is a round culdesac. Both past snows they plow a strait line from the rest of street curb leaving a large part of the road in front of our house unplowed. Could you please have someone swing by and do the rest of the court? And then speak with the driver about doing our full court. In a large snow we would be completely stuck. This has never been an issue in years past. I think it may be a new driver. Thank you so much!
