I'm about to jump in the icy waters of #BTV's Lake Champlain in a few mins to thank donors.
I challenged supporters to "jump in" w/ the campaign & raise $25K by NYE. They crushed it & that deserves celebration.

I know cars/new roads are not popular in Burlington, but I wonder if once we're all driving electric vehicles the sentiment will let up a bit. Can we then have some better connectors to I89?

Black Toyota in front of 136 has not moved since the snow plows cleared the street. this is the 4the day with snow on it. VT plate HXS 855....it does not belong to anyone we know on this section of the street. it is apparently being left as a long-term parking spot, ( it was reported left for over a month prior to the snow emergency) Our street is losing places, we need MORE, not less, please open up this space from the long-term parker so the residents who do not have off-road spots can live here.

Random Burlingtonian Quote of the Day 📝
...classic philosophy maintained that change, and consequently time, are marks of inferior reality, holding that true and ultimate reality is immutable and eternal. Human reasons, all too human, have given birth to the idea that over and beyond the lower realm of things that shift like the sands on the seashore there is the kingdom of the unchanging, of the complete, the perfect. The grounds for the belief are couched in the technical language of philosophy, but the grounds for the cause is the heart's desire for surcease from change, struggle, and uncertainty. The eternal and immutable is the consummation of mortal man's quest for certainty.
