You know the #BTV Pit would make an amazing Queen City Central Park. Loads of green space, trees, outdoor performance space, and by design socially distant. Let’s enact eminate domain & reclaim public land, drop some seeds, and watch what blossoms in 2021. #VTpoli

I welcome new Superintendent @tomflanaganjr decision to reopen with some in person learning. #VT + #BTV have earned this opportunity by achieving necessary public health standards. I have offered @BTVSchools the City’s help to expand in person learning over the course of the fall https://t.co/mMkmY5gH7K

The new mask mandate makes sense to me. Vermont has been at the forefront of confronting the crisis, and we have achieved one of the lowest death rates per capita in the entire country. We should be proud of that achievement and I think this new mandate will keep us there.

There was a water break in our neighborhood today, and the water coming through our tap appears clear but the odor is off. It just doesn't smell right, and my husband said it tasted funny. We ran the water for a period of time, but were wondering if we needed to do something else.

There is a lot of water in the roadway, and ponding in intersections, between the intersection of Muirfield Rd/Edinborough Rd and the town houses at Eastman Farm Rd. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but there was a lot of it and it was moving fast and into the storm drains. There also seemed to be a significant amount of water coming from the Eastman Farm Rd area, so maybe it was coming from there. I thought this was very strange and wanted to report it in case of an infrastructure problem.
