This week @MiroBTV lied and said we don’t have enough housing for homeless residents. The truth is if he prioritized ‘housing first’ over landlords, we’d have more than enough housing for everyone. #btv #btvcc https://t.co/K8CxuwYB6d

Wouldn't it be cool if there were a high level resource... like say a city or state government... to step in and say "hell no, you don't get to fuck life up for everyone just because you're run by a bunch of selfish bastards." #BTV #VT #VTpoli

Saw the interview of #dronepratap on #btv kannada! scripted Paid interview! It so clearly shows @KirikKeerthi knows nothing about basic scientific principles and is bothered about money and TRP. Both of them should be reported to #presscouncilofIndia for spreading fake news!

- Transportation and Parking Improvement Request
this what a motorcycle looked like 100 years ago. basically a bike with an engine strapped to it, pedals and all.
Riding it legally on city streets would require licence endorsement, registration and inspection, helmet and eye protection and one must obey every traffic law, stay off sidewalks and bike paths.
yet, electric bicycles and scooters/mopeds of today would out perform this antique in every category except coolness....and those other forms of transportation are running rampant all over the city with impunity. this discriminates the motorcyclists.
..please educate and enforce.

- Transportation and Parking Improvement Request
this is a whizzer. they have been made since the 50's. Basically a 2 stroke oil/gas mix engine propelling a bike. One of these just flew by our place on North Winooski ave at about 40mph!..no plates, no helmet or eye protection, moments later, he returned down the wrong way of the one way street!
why are these motor driven cycles allowed to use the streets with total disregard to all traffic laws and safety of others?
they are using bike lanes as well as the Burlington bike path.
education and enforcement please. signage as well

- Impending parking expansion sans permit?
If the usual playbook from this operation is followed, I'd expect an expansion of parking without zoning notice/permit by spreading and compaction of this pile of crusher mix on a weekend or city holiday. The approved design on file shows parking to not extend south of the westernmost brick wall of the building.

- Sweeping Needed
The intersection of South Union and Buell has a large amount of sand and other debris on the roadway, with the majority in the bike lanes. The piles of sand from the infrequent torrential rain we have had this summer accumulate at intersections, and especially in bike lanes, due to the storm watermoving the sand to the sides of the road. What can be done about this issue, specifically the amount of sand in the protected bike lanes. A DPW street sweeper obviously will not reach the areas behind the barriers. The amount of accumulation of debris poses a safety risk to pedestrians and bikers stopping at intersections, who end up having to brake on a significant amount of sand.
