The new August First thing where some staff member rides his bike around #BTV shouting "fresh bread" with their baguettes sticking out of his basket is a little extra & I am obsessed.

You only turn 40 once in a pandemic, so of course you should bring the @LCChocolates ice cream truck to your neighborhood.

Dave's Corner 💭
So, I'm walking at the corner of University Place and Colchester Avenue making a right turn from University to Colchester. I cross in front of a car and wave a "thanks for letting me go" sign. They had to let me go really because they needed to stop and I had a crosswalk, but I did it as a kind of nicety. The car drives around the corner and as it drives by me the passenger throws a half-filled Dr. Pepper bottle at me as hard as he can. Luckily, he just misses me. Why? No idea.

There is a lot of water in the roadway, and ponding in intersections, between the intersection of Muirfield Rd/Edinborough Rd and the town houses at Eastman Farm Rd. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but there was a lot of it and it was moving fast and into the storm drains. There also seemed to be a significant amount of water coming from the Eastman Farm Rd area, so maybe it was coming from there. I thought this was very strange and wanted to report it in case of an infrastructure problem.

Observed this morning during heavy rain. The only water in the infiltration basin appears to be from direct rainfall or runoff from the banks (which are eroding)

Please note that this east end of Kilburn has neither a stop line nor a stop sign. Also, visibility for drivers is limited by unregulated on-street/green belt/right of way parking.
