It has been truly an amazing year and to celebrate we thought we'd publish our Top 10 Accomplishment of the STEM Leadership Alliance in 2019 for Building Awareness of Integrated STEM across the Nation and Beyond:
- 2019 STEM Leadership Alliance Summit brought together over 325 leaders in STEM representing 28 states, 4 countries, and one US territory.
- Announced our first STEM Leadership Alliance Affiliate, in the Philippines!
- Met with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Director Droegemeier to discuss the importance of integrated STEM and the 3 principles.
Principle 1: Integrated STEM education should advance the learning of each individual STEM discipline
Principle 2: Integrated STEM education should provide logical and authentic connections between and across the individual STEM disciplines
Principle 3: Integrated STEM education should serve as a bridge to STEM careers
- Launched I-STEM Day on September 18 where educators reached approximately 2 million students around the globe.
- Hosted the first Integrated STEM Summit in Asia with 11 countries represented and over 300 attendees.
- Presented the importance of integrated STEM at the Southeast Asia Ministries of Education High Officials Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Announced the 2020 Summits: July 12 to 16, Orlando, Florida and November 9 to 13 Bangkok, Thailand. Stay tuned for more upcoming events. www.STEMLeadershipAlliance.org

- Launched webinars that included our first one with NASA and thank you to NBC Learn for hosting the webinars on your platform.
