January 2021, Vol. 3, Issue 1
Dear Friend,

We want to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a New Year full of health and happiness. Thank you for your continuing support of our work and helping us make a difference in the lives of children and youth with autism, and their families.

Thank You Els for Autism Canada!
A BIG thank you goes out to Els for Autism Canada for their generous donation of $15,000. This funding will support Shining Through's Parent Training Program, as well as an online pilot project that offers parent coaching on the Research Units in Behavioral Intervention (RUBI) program.

Els for Autism was created by pro-golfer Ernie Els and his wife Liezl shortly after their son Ben was diagnosed with ASD. It lends support to organizations in the US to help provide assistance to schools, therapy programs and increase awareness of ASD. Their establishment of a Canadian organization is a continuation of those efforts, and focuses on the needs of Canadians diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and their families. We are beyond grateful for their support!
