UC student Abby Gast

Co-op gives student chance to sharpen skills, network and explore Chicago

Abby Gast, a fourth-year architectural engineering student at the University of Cincinnati developed a real knack for helping her clients get a peek at the completion of proposed construction projects by using modeling and rendering software during her design co-op last summer at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, a construction and program management firm. It was offered to Gast and other students through UC’s top-ranked cooperative education program.

KAO USA

When Kao USA launched a one-week design sprint challenge for one of its global brands, Bioré, University of Cincinnati student Yale Miller jumped in. “I was familiar with the Bioré brand because of their partnership with the UC 1819 innovation Hub and projects they had done with NIS in the past,” Miller said. “Working on projects like these are always fun. While the time limit can be challenging, it makes the final product much more rewarding.”
