Today, August 8, 2021, the NCS 2021: PARI Project honors Saint Dominic De Guzman on his feast day by remembering the four Dominican pillars - community life, common prayer, study, and service. We celebrated these pillars in the context of catechetical ministry through our latest Research-based Intervention Outcomes (RIO) on Creative Catechetical Resources shared online, the Kwentong Kateksita 9: Kateksitang Malikhain last August 2, 2021 (Monday) via Facebook Liv e with Arts Research and Training Institute in Southern Tagalog, Incorporated (ARTIST, Inc.). This webinar continues to discuss the need for more catechetical training and formation beyond lectures and story-telling techniques. This intervention project encourages catechists to be creative in doing catechesis through various pedagogies such as poetry writing, dancing, singing, creative storytelling, and even doing artworks. View the Katakistang Malikhain sample pedagogies through our website.
As we continue to celebrate the 500 Years of Christianity (YOC) in the Philippines, may these pedagogies guide all Filipino catechists in proclaiming God’s love to everyone!
