The NCS 2021: PARI Project continues to celebrate the gifts of the catechetical ministry in two important events. First, Bishop Roberto "Bobet" C. Mallari, D.D., CBCBP-ECCCE Chair, in his plenary, presented our research findings entitled, Filipino Catechists and Our Thriving Catechetical Ministries: 'Gifted to Give' during the International Conference on Catechesis and Religious Education (ICCRE) organized by the De La Salle University Theology and Religious Education Department (DLSU TRED) last June 25, 2021 (Friday) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM via Zoom. In his address, he states that the catechetical ministry is alive and being given life by our “faith-driven” servants, front liners, and defenders of our faith – our catechists. This makes our catechists truly a gift to the Catholic Church. Watch his plenary address by clicking the above photo.
Second, we culminated our Research-based Intervention Outcome (RIO) on Digital Catechesis through the Kwentong Katekista 8: Digital Catechesis last June 28, 2021 (Monday) via Facebook Live.
Fr. Lope Lesigues, founder of God's Park, together with the Digital Evangelization Network (DEvNet), highlights the feedback of catechists and catechized children involved in this digital catechesis initiative. Click the photo to watch the full webinar.
As we dedicate all these achievements to God and to our catechists,
let us continue being gifts to others and to the Catholic Church.
