The NCS 2021: PARI Project continues to celebrate the gifts of the catechetical ministry in two important events. First, Bishop Roberto "Bobet" C. Mallari, D.D., CBCBP-ECCCE Chair, in his plenary, presented our research findings entitled, Filipino Catechists and Our Thriving Catechetical Ministries: 'Gifted to Give' during the International Conference on Catechesis and Religious Education (ICCRE) organized by the De La Salle University Theology and Religious Education Department (DLSU TRED) last June 25, 2021 (Friday) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM via Zoom. In his address, he states that the catechetical ministry is alive and being given life by our “faith-driven” servants, front liners, and defenders of our faith – our catechists. Second, we culminated our Research-based Intervention Outcome (RIO) on Digital Catechesis through the Kwentong Katekista 8: Digital Catechesis last June 28, 2021 (Monday) via Facebook Live.

Congratulations to our three Catechetical Module writers who will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons by Bishop Enrique V. Macaraeg, DD of the Diocese of Tarlac on July 16, 2021 (Friday), 9:00 AM at the San Sebastian Cathedral, Tarlac City. Let us continue to pray for them to become priest-catechists in our catechetical ministry. 
 

Thank you to the 14 transcribers who responded to our call to assist us in transcribing about 200 audio/video individual and group-based interviews with the catechized, catechists, and catechetical leaders.
