Squishy Robotics is honored to be a recipient of a 2022 East Bay Innovation Award. The East Bay Economic Development Alliance (EDA) selected Squishy Robotics as this year’s winner in the Engineering & Design category, announcing the prize as part of an August 4th ceremony honoring the finalists from the more than 200 nominated companies and organizations that work in and serve Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The ceremony was held at Oakland’s Fox Theater, a 1928 movie palace that was painstakingly restored and is a designated city landmark.
Lead Mechatronics Engineer Douglas Hutchings accepted the award for Squishy Robotics, praising and thanking our first responder customers during his speech. “It has been an incredible privilege to build tools for those who keep all of us safe.”
