Dear CSOMA Community,

The next issue of JAIM needs YOU!

Call for Peer Reviewers
The Journal of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (JAIM) is currently accepting applications for our next issue on fertility and reproductive health. Reviewers work directly with the Editor-in-Chief and are listed in the publication's masthead. In addition to fairness in judgment and expertise in the field, reviewers have significant responsibilities toward authors, editors, and readers. The time commitment begins now, involves the review of two articles, and lasts roughly 4-6 weeks.

Desired traits include: confidentiality, constructive critique, competence, impartiality and integrity, disclosure of conflict of interest, and timeliness and responsiveness.

AB 918 is Now a 2-Year Bill

What does that mean? In the world of legislative policy, this means:

  • Acupuncture stays on the table and top of mind for California policymakers;
  • We now have MORE time to collaborate with allied professions and acupuncture stakeholders;

Support letters for AB 918 keep coming in, and CSOMA will continue working this bill to clear up any confusion. We're proud to lead a wave of progressive movement for the acupuncture profession, and excited about the enthusiasm this bill has generated thus far, including this press release:
