'GRAM OF THE MONTH
We're doing a new thing this year to show off the amazing photos other people take in our district! This month, we have our eye on this picture by @igpostaholic from Lake Greenwood State Park. Be sure to check them out for other awesome photos! Want us to see your photo? Be sure to tag us at @Old96Tourism on Instagram! (Consider giving us a follow, too!)

CRAVING THE SUN AGAIN?
If you're a fan of camping but not a fan of crowds, then January/February is the best time to go. No crowds means the prime pick of campsites and peaceful trails, plus it's warmer down here than it is in the mountains. Take a peek at our State Parks and see which one is calling your name.

DIVING INTO THE PAST
Old 96 Distrcit holds a treasure trove of history; besides a plethora of historic churches, homes, and other buildings, there's two Revolutionary War battlefields, the birthplace of Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, and more. On your next visit into the District, consider visiting a historic site and finding what legacy rests in your own backyard!
