District Highlights - Caring for Our Community
Crossroads believes firmly in caring for our community and we put it into action in a variety of ways. Here are just a few of our efforts this school year:
- Socktober - Sock Drive brought in 322 pairs of socks for our friends at City Union Mission.
- Unicorn Day is celebrated each year in Nov. in honor of Central Street student Jaelah Rainingbird-Minme who passed from cancer in 2018. We honor her memory by wearing her favorite colors and celebrating inclusivity.
- In partnership with Harvester's, all three campuses now have a food pantry and care closet available to all CCS families and staff, no questions asked.
- Michael's Mondays/Wear Purple in Nov. for Epilepsy Awareness Month in honor of beloved CPA student, Michael Jones, Jr. who passed in 2020.
