October Member Spotlight
We have so many amazing members across the district and we cannot thank each and every one of you for your hard work! The changes being made one project at a time are only possible because of every one of you-- our members!

Thank you to all of the individuals that submitted the form for the October Member Spotlight! We hope to continue to see submissions each month for the spotlights whether it is for club or members spotlights.
Our October Member Spotlight is Yu Ning Shiu from The Ohio State University - Columbus!

Last year during her freshman year, she joined the Circle K Club at OSU and began to get actively involved with the organization. From club to district events, Yu Ning has always done her best to be there if she could!
For the 2021-2022 service year, Yu Ning is serving as the club secretary. She has done an incredible job since she started in April and has been an integral part of the club's success. Yu Ning always checks in with their president to see if there are any concerns or ideas the club wants to share with the District or with International, and this attention to group needs is just another characteristic that makes Yu Ning stand out in her efforts.

To learn more about Yu Ning, check out the full spotlight article on the district website. Click the button below!

Tomorrow Fund
The Tomorrow Fund opens TODAY (October 1st)!

Circle K members love to serve, and grants from the Tomorrow Fund can help them do just that. From October 1 to December 1, CKI clubs are encouraged to apply for grants ranging from US$200 to US$2,000 to help conduct service projects that create a meaningful impact on their campuses and in communities.

In recent years, clubs have used grants for projects that improve the lives of school children, families without homes, cancer patients and people who are food insecure. Clubs have also received grants to promote sustainable lifestyles and improve the environment.

Club Advisor Facebook Group
One of the International board’s priorities this year is to improve the club experience. With that said, they are building a network for some of the most important members of our clubs – club advisors. They created a Facebook group to connect club advisors from around the organization, you can find it here:
We want to make our monthly updates and district website reflective of our members and clubs. So, do you want to submit a short article for next month's update email or have something featured on the district website? Or is there just a topic like recruitment and retention that you want some focus on?

Do not hesitate to reach out to your District Bulletin Editor Annamarie McGuire at She will be happy to hear from you regarding anything that you want to see published and/or talked about!

If you are reading this, please email Annamarie at with the number of different costumes that OCKI the owl is wearing in this update. The first person to respond will receive a surprise from OCKI!
The District report form is the same updating system as last year. Each club has a Google Excel sheet where all meetings, service projects, K-Family events, and inter club events, as well as any fundraisers your club conducts. It is shared with all officers for the 2021-2022 term and we ask that every club updates it once different events are completed. Also, do not forget to submit the Monthly Report Form through the Membership Update Center on International's website. The International MRFs are open and are due on the 5th of the month.

Additionally, thank you to all of our clubs that have submitted 2021-22 Club Officer Information! You can find the third version of the District Directory by clicking the “Download 2021-22 Directory” link below.
