FLA Network manifesto: 

  • To improve communication between our libraries and archives and to develop and strengthen connections and networks.
  • To provide a platform for feminist and women’s libraries and archives and to highlight their importance.
  • To promote feminist and women’s libraries and archives to a wider audience.
  • To support each other in various aspects of running feminist and women’s libraries and archives and to share knowledge and expertise.
  • To ensure the continuity of feminist and women’s libraries and archives.
  • To create and maintain links between feminist and women’s libraries and archives, other women-friendly archiving projects which chronicle the heritage of progressive social movements and the wider feminist activist community.

Until 28th July 
The Feminist Library is contributing to an exhibition at the Thames-Side Gallery. 
Their mobile van Library is going to be there weekend of 27-28th July - don't miss! 

Until 3rd August
Glasgow Women's Library is hosting an 'ambitious' exhibition - including installations, sculptures and sound works - exploring notions of home.  

Until 8th September
LSE's Women's Library is holding The Sacred Year of 1919: women and the professions summer exhibition, accompanied by a series of talks.  

6-7th September
Women's History Network Conference will be hosted at the LSE, London.

5-6th October
The Women's Archive Wales will be holding its annual conference in partnership with St Fagans National Museum of History, with 24 speakers already confirmed.
