Reminder: regional Conversation tomorrow

Skye Climate Action's next Conversation is on Thursday 19th November at 7 pm, on the theme of "Sharing the passion for Climate Action across the area”.

We are delighted that Trish Robertson, chair of the Highland Council Climate Change Working Group will speak to the theme. Planet Sutherland, Transition Black Isle, Knoydart Forest Trust and participants from Eigg and Mallaig will share what they are doing, and we may also have people joining us from Lochcarron and Lochalsh.

Plastic Free Broadford & Beyond meeting:
talk on marine plastic entanglement

26th November, 7 - 8.30 pm

We will hear from Ellie MacLennan, Broadford resident, who has been co-ordinator of the Scottish Entanglement Alliance (SEA) project for the past two and a half years, and is a member of the Scottish Marine Animal Strandings Scheme (SMASS) team.

Plastic Free Broadford & Beyond participants will also give updates on plastics issues on Skye and plans for future actions.
