Charlotte Dads Group is a diverse community of fathers who take an active role in our children’s lives. We seek to create a community of fathers in our city to grow, share, and learn from one another. We meet with our kids at parks, playgrounds, museums, nature centers, and parent-and-me classes across Charlotte. In addition, we have monthly “Dad’s Night Out” events all across the city to get to know each other and build lasting friendships and connections.
THIS MONTH’S TOP STORIES
Give a listen to the NEW Charlotte Dad’s Podcast!
Our leadership team has been hard at work to bring something new to all of our members, and not it’s here! The Official Podcast of the Charlotte Dad’s Group. Our goal is to share our experiences and tips of fatherhood, and to give members a way to connect with the group on another level. We hope you enjoy it, and look forward to any and all feedback!
September Dad’s Night Out @ Axe Club of America
Thursday September 19th, 2019
Now this was what our Dad’s Night Out’s are all about: We enjoyed a great night of friendship, laughter, and launching axes into solid wood! If you’ve never been to a place like this before, I’d highly recommend watching our MeetUp page for the next time. Not to be missed!
First EVER all parents Meetup @ Olde Mecklenburg Brewery
Sunday, September 29th 2019
This was without a doubt one of the most fun and largest MeetUps we’ve ever done! We partnered with several other parent groups throughout the city for this event. It was a blast, with a turnout that included over 6 different MeetUp groups and over 70 people (including the kiddos).
Welcome to all new members!
This month our group continued to grow, with the addition of several new members. We’d like to welcome into our community:
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our meetups in the future!
Partnership with Pampers:
Have you ever been out in public with your little one and had way too much trouble finding a changing table? Especially in the men’s room? We can relate! That’s why the Charlotte Dad’s Group parent organization (pun intended), the City Dad’s Group has partnered with Pampers to nominate local businesses that are in need of a place for dad’s. Head over to the survey below and nominate them!
Be sure to check out Meetup for all additional events as well as to RSVP so we can get a proper headcount.
