EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MESSAGE
With the help of our internationally recognized planning firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, we recently kicked off our master planning efforts. During the past month we have conducted site evaluations, market studies, traffic modeling and other analyses to inform the development of three concepts for our framework master plan.
In addition, we have engaged our subject-matter experts who currently serve on our five working groups and assembled a stakeholder advisory committee to represent broader perspectives from the general public. In the coming weeks, the three master plan concepts for the site will be released. These concepts will articulate various approaches to future development and the tradeoffs and benefits associated with them.
The Point master plan will provide a critical framework for future site development so we encourage active participation in the process. In the coming weeks, we will release a survey to solicit public input and host a virtual open house. We welcome your participation to help make The Point. |
