The Center for Nonprofit Studies at ACC is pleased to collaborate with Fayruz Benyousef Consulting and Bucko Design to disseminate Pause. Take stock. Hit the ground running. A Fundraising Workbook for Challenging Times.

With uncertainty the one sure thing in our lives right now, we take comfort in the fact that nonprofit organizations are experts in the unknown. As a sector, nonprofits provide stability where it’s lacking, whether for safety, shelter, food, physical and mental health, jobs, or educational opportunities—the list goes on. Because of limited resources, nonprofits must also conduct their work with a great deal of innovation. With these native conditions of nonprofit work in mind, is there any better resource during the current COVID-19 pandemic than nonprofit expertise? We don’t think so. Now, more than ever, we need mission-driven thinkers and innovators like YOU undaunted by reduced financial circumstances.

We encourage you to download and share this FREE fillable PDF workbook and perspective of how to manage and persevere at this time. It is our collective hope that this resource helps ease your doubts and focus on a much brighter future. We're all in this together!

This poster serves to remind us of our responsibility to create an even better world.  Walt Kelly created it for the first Earth Day in 1970. He featured characters from his long-running strip Pogo -- mourning the sad state of the environment. He paraphrased a famous War of 1812 message from (soon to be Commodore) Oliver Hazard Perry: "We have met the enemy, and they are ours."
