Coyotes have continued to expand their range in Oregon and thus human vs. coyote issues have been multiplying. Understanding the coyote's ecology is critical to learning how to manage both the animal and ourselves in order to minimize conflicts. Come learn about these fascinating animals and their management in our neighborhoods on the urban/wildland overlap.

Oregon State University Extension Service faculty, staff, and Master Gardener™ volunteers continue to enhance local community horticulture by offering tried-and-true, research-based gardening information to support home gardeners in successful and sustainable gardening.
With disruptions in the global food chain due to the COVID-19 epidemic, interest in home gardening is resurging as a way to have direct control over access to fresh foods.  Our new series of timely gardening webinars assist gardeners with ‘how-to’ tips and sound gardening guidance. Presented by both OSU Extension faculty and Master Gardener volunteers, the webinars can be viewed at leisure, in the comfort of your home or your garden! Check back weekly, for the latest webinars:
OSU Extension Service is also offering its online Vegetable Gardening course (part of the ‘Master Gardener Short Course Series’) for free. This course is normally $45 but OSU is waving the fee through May 27, 2020. The ‘Master Gardener Short Course Series’ consists of 12 courses, each focusing on garden fundamentals to support growing a thriving, sustainable garden.
