Please join us for the COCA Annual General Meeting on Tuesday June 11th at the Hilton Garden Inn starting at 7:30 p.m.
Our special guest will be Mayor Rob Burton, who will update us on recent events and activities in Oakville, and answer questions from Clearview residents.
This is also your opportunity to speak with our Town and Regional Councillors, learn about the We Love Oakville campaign against amalgamation, elect the COCA Board, join the COCA Board, raise neighbourhood concerns with COCA’s Board of Directors and contribute $10 toward COCA’s work supporting Clearview.

WeLoveOakville - Stop Amalgamation - Update
Only a few weeks remain before the special advisors submit their recommendations. We encourage all Oakville residents who oppose amalgamation and any reduction in the number of elected councilors for Oakville to send an email. For instructions click: https://www.weloveoakville.org/write
On May 17th the various community groups representing We Love Oakville - Stop Amalgamation presented their opposition to the Special Advisors conducting the municipal review for the Province. Five presentations covered topics including, Councils and Governance, Service Delivery and Efficiency, and Citizen Engagement. The presentations were followed by a short Q&A session. Oakville’s annual Mayor’s Picnic in the Park is on Sunday June 9th from Noon to 4:30pm – fun for all the family and the St. Paul’s Dixie jazz Band & the Oakville Wind Orchestra playing – all at Lakeside Park on Navy Street & Front Street – Bring a Lawn Chair for a good old fashioned picnic – better bring that too! No food for sale on site.

Great participation, great weather, and community spirit all contributed to this year’s successful day. Over 250 residents turned up this year to clean up the Clearview neighbourhood, enjoy a free barbecue, and socialize.
