Newsletter                                                      Volume 2 Issue 1

Let's start the new year off with a short quiz. Check off any of the following that describe you:
  • A huge theatre fan
  • A parent with kids between 7-18
  • A kid between 7-18
  • An adult interested in social justice
  • A school employee
  • A human
Okay, that last one was a cheap trick. But seriously, if you've checked off any of the above, we guarantee there is something in this newsletter for you.

So keep reading to learn about our brand new Spring Break camp, summer camps, and summer intensive (hint: it's the opposite of summer). We also have news from Social Justice Theater of the Carolinas, including how school employees can score free tickets.

Social Justice Theater of the Carolinas

"Columbinus" is a play by the United States Theatre Project written by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli. We have chosen this play to commemorate the lives lost in Columbine High School and all school shootings.

These performances will be FREE TO ALL SCHOOL EMPLOYEES. You'll be able to reserve a free ticket online as long as you bring your staff ID with you.

Please note that this show has extreme language, adult situations, and violence. No one under 13 will be admitted without a parent.

After each performance, a counselor will lead a community discussion between the actors and the audience about school shootings.
