Introducing Open Atelier Mumbai

We are delighted to be taking you with us on our journey of design, philosophies, concepts and a lot of details!

Open Atelier Mumbai is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design studio based out of Mumbai that strives towards transforming urban lives. Founded by designer Rahul Mistri in 2010, the studio aims to craft spaces of experiential quality derived from a rooted understanding of how design affects lives as a result of urban necessities.

With expertise in residential, commercial, and offices, we are looking forward to sharing our insights behind the scenes and more with you.

Meet the founder

Rahul Mistri is the Principal Designer of award-winning and multi-disciplinary design studio Open Atelier Mumbai. His interest in material application, analysis and production drive the zest to explore materialities that are visibly observed in his design. Apart from design practice, Rahul contributes to the academic pedagogy as a visiting professor at the Academy of Architecture and various other design institutions.
