GUN SAFETY WALKS AGAINST VIOLENCE
 
The Gun Safety Committee members Betsy Pickup, Kristen Murtaugh, Rosalie Almborg and Arlene Ustin participated in Delray Beach's  "Against Violence Delray Community Event". They handed out , 48 gun locks, a lot of Gun Safety, voting, and League information, collected 34 BAWN petitions and updated voting records.

THE OBSERVER CORPS NEEDS YOU
Local government actions affect us all, and many of us will be voting in upcoming local elections.  The Observer Corps needs volunteers to keep League members informed.  Observer Corps members attend (or view online) city commission, Palm Beach County Commission, or Palm Beach School Board meetings and write reports for the LWVPBC News.  If you are interested in joining the Observer Corps, contact Serena Lurie at serenawlurie@gmail.com or (305) 586-9291.
